PANDA

You’re eating an afternoon snack on your hammock, pretending to do homework but really wondering which pillow is the most comfortable. A rainstorm is starting to flood your garage, as the raccoons race through your house for safety. The wind blows away the annoying woodpecker that has awoken you from your sleep more than once, but as the house slowly crumbles away you realize, pandas are no longer endangered.

Though you know pandas are no longer endangered you realize those words mean nothing to you. Pandas serve as role models for mankind, rarely active except at morning, afternoon and midnight to roam and eat bamboo, spraying urine and attacking others out of irritation. A rise in the panda population has led to the panda status being moved from endangered to vulnerable though there are only 1,864 remaining in the wild. Despite this, many experts believe the panda population to decrease as their habitat continues to disappear.

Pandas have been a relevant part of society for years. With songs and movies named after them, the Panda has given birth to more memes than most insects will in their entire lives. Without the panda, humankind will undoubtedly experience the invasion of the fire nation.
